What services are provided by Servant's Heart Home Health Services?
We provide Skilled Nursing services and Home Health Aide services. For a more complete listing of services, see our Services page or call us at 866-739-1776.

Do I have a say in who is assigned?
Absolutely! We understand the importance of a good relationship between our clients and their caregivers. Our caregivers find fulfillment in their relationship with their clients, and they know that they can bring their clients long lasting benefits, such as improving their health and quality of life. We make certain that each caregiver is a good match for the clients we serve.

What if my caregiver wants time-off or doesn't work out?
A staffing coordinator is available around the clock to handle any scheduling arrangements or problems that may arise. We ask that you request any changes to your scheduling needs to the staffing coordinator in the office and not through your caregivers in order to ensure good communication of your needs.

How does Servant's Heart Home Health Services handle payment?
Servant's Heart will bill you bi-weekly if you are paying privately. You can request the invoice to come by email or by regular mail. We pay our caregivers and handle all details regarding taxes and insurance. All other billing (insurance, Medicaid, etc.) will be handled for you by our office.

Will my insurance pay for Servant's Heart Services homecare services?
Servant's Heart Services is a private pay, fee-for-service agency. We also accept traditional Medicaid Waiver, CHOICE, and PA. Clients are sometimes able to take advantage of long-term care insurance and worker's compensation claims to cover the cost of care giving.

How much does it cost?
Our rates are competitive and reasonable for the services provided. We compensate our caregivers with competitive wages and train them to provide many value-added services.

How do we arrange for the start of services?
Initiating services can pose a unique challenge for clients. It takes time for clients to become comfortable with the idea of having a stranger in their home and to trust in their caregivers. Servant's Heart is experienced at easing your loved one through this transition, and we will be there to see you through the adjustments that will take place. During the initial phone interview, we will gather information concerning your loved one's medical condition, personality traits, and specific needs and concerns. Next, a nurse will meet with you and finalize the individualized service plan that is catered to meet your every need. If your caregiver doesn't seem to be a good match, we will continue to work with you until we find just the right person. And don't forget, the service plan is a working plan that can be changed and perfected as time goes along and new needs become apparent.

What if I have an urgent need and there's no time to wait?
Servant's Heart is able to assist in emergency situations. Our on duty staffing coordinator can facilitate admissions during non-business hours and weekends. Since we operate twenty four hours a day, help is only a phone call away.
